My major gripe with the film is that its bs and makes relatively no sense what so ever.

There were like 3-4 other subliminal images throughout the movie that you prob didn't catch

Now that is a stretch. I wouldn't go as far as to say that.

I love Fight Club, and think it's one of the most entertaining and quite dark films I've seen. I also don't get how it's overated, since it did **** at the box office.

It doesn't have to have done well at the box office to be overrated. The film has developed quite the cult following of rabid supporters.

Donnie Darko grossed under a million dollars, but look at how many people love that movie. You could say this one was overrated as well.

If it has a cult following it can barely be overated. A cult following is a number of fans who are practically obsessed. It did well with DVD sales though I guess, so I can understand how some people might view it as overated.

This is true. Check out the IMDB forums for Fight Club and you will see many followers who call themselves Space Monkeys. About 50% of them are also homosexual interestingly enough.

I liked it a lot, but it's not really mind-blowing or anything. I think I went through my anarchy phase when I was 14 anyways.

It's a really good film, but everytime I watch it it seems to loose something. I just don't enjoy it as much as the time before.

I only watch it on rare occasions.

I think overall the movie is great because it's so dark, yet quirky. But, I was REALLY dissapointed at the ending, it just seems like that ending has become so cliche now, it's like an easy way out for filmmakers.

I thought that Norton's and Pitt's performances were great, and the film "looked good" (well shot, nice cinematography etc). However, I really didn't like the ending and I think that the whole film was a bit too clever for its own good. It wasn't bad or anything-it was definitely entertaining.
