I for one love this show, its British comedy at its best IMO and I love all the characters Matt Lucas and David Walliams do. Heres the Little Britain website for more info if you've never seen it...http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/littlebritain/
Oh and by the way my fav sketch is probably...Ray Mcooney or Daffyd but theyre all good.
Far from British comedy at it's best. The first season was bearable, but from there they just got more disturbing and less funny. League Of Gentlemen and Brasseye are both prime examples of how to make gross-out and disturbing comedy in my opinion.

What this guy said, except i don't think it went down hill, it's always been that bad.

The first season was OK, but it's been pretty awful since then. The jokes that were funny have been done to death, and the newer "jokes" aren't really funny, just gross.

There's no difference between the first episode of the first series and the last of thelast. It's about as intelligent as an amoeba but with far less potential for evolving into something better.
3rd series started off awful but got a bit better.
Apart from that its all ok.
Fawlty Towers is a much better example of British comedy...

Over-rated bollocks. The first episode was funny, but there are only so many times you can laugh at a disabled person saying 'Yeah, I know!' before you want to kill yourself. This show was mildly amusing for a while and then it just got depressing.

Eh, I've seen a few episodes on BBC America when nothing else is on TV.
Peep Show is better.

Peep show is indeed a prime example of contemporary british comedy.

I agree that it's overrated - which has partly been it's downfall. I got a few laughs out of it at first but there are far better British comedys out there.
Peep Show and Green Wing are the best British comedies at the moment I think. But there isn't much choice to be honest.

I would rather watch a blank wall for 12 hours then watch one half hour episode of Little Britain. It's 'comedy' for morons.
Green Wing, Peep Show, Black Books, Spaced, etc ftw
