Fairly low quality recording of my band

Ok this is a song we recorded on a digital 8 track, the vocals are pretty poor because of a bad mic, but we're hoping to rerecord soon. Anyways check it out, it's very much in the vein of Bullet For My Valentine and Funeral For A Friend. And I know we have the emo-est name ever, I didn't choose it haha.

The opening guitars tone made me cringe. Did he go direct into the board? The bass was non-existant. And the second guitar had such a better tone then the lead. But alot of that is just equipment...

As for the song, the singer needs to learn how to use his voice. Have him read some of the voice lessons here. Also, the drummer fills went off beat alot. The main riff got really repeatitive after awhile. And your break down made me laugh because it was a bad attempt at something everyone does. lol.

Give it time and alot of practice, you guys will get it down.
