Sabian Chad Smith 18.5" Explosion Crash

Hoping to get a Chad Smith Explosion Crash soon and was wondering how thick the cymbol is and is volume in relations to a standerd 18 " crash

You should note the chad ones are darker than aax and possibly HHXplosion and arent fort everyone

Im pritty shure chad dosnt use HHXplosions... he has own signature crash now, correct me if im incorect

Im aware of that, i was merely comparing them to the other two types of explosion crash available. I do like the chad smiths but they come in second to the AAXplosion. I was never a fan of the HHXplosion

how do u think they compare in quality to AA crashes (MT) and HH {I am awair that they are designed to sute diffrent styles}

I would only really compare them to AAX and HHX because they actually have explosion crashes in their ranges.

yeah its not the same. Its a different size. instead of coming in 18 or 19 it comes in 18.5. theres another size too i think.I was jsut stating that i like my 18.

Have you tried listening to the Sabian Sound Check? Not definitive, but it should give an idea of the charactaristics.
