Tom stands (please read even if you dont want to!!!)

Ive got a big *** tom on my rack and i want to take it of and move my ride into that posisiton. Ive thought about clamping it but ive now figured it would be better to use a tom stand. So i was wondering what a good tom stand is and where to get one in the uk.Preferably a good strong double braced one beacause i dont want my tom to fall of and break if i hit it to hard!!!

Price range:: £50 max As many pics as possible please!!

Or you could get a boom arm and save money, because your not going to find a really good stand for 50

Find an item similar to the third item on the site above on a uk site.

The industry standard (most likely) DW 9900. It will easily hold and 14" and 16" toms and 3 cymbals with out moving a milli-meter.

To bad its not in the price range you've listed, new. Check used on Ebay!!

If you can give us some pics of your set-up and all of the hardware you have it would help... Like spike9908 said, for £50 you won't get much.

i thought a snare stand would be bad if it was deep because it would end up so high......
