I just wrote this song after I noticed a few things about some teenage people. Its about two people who are starting to like each other. They secretley want to see each other but doesnt want anyone to know.

She never stops thinking
Thinking of things that haven’t come to pass

He never stops believing
Believing in things that will never take place

Together they dream
Dreaming of warm nights and towering perceptions

The full cars driving aimlessly into summers haze
Meeting the same people with disappointment
Scanning the room for only one
But someone isn’t there.
Not there.

Suggestions for leaving are considered
Influencing others to disperse
Hope is rekindled for another possibility

There may be a chance
A chance of fate tangling their paths

Their eyes will lock
A lock unbreakable by any contender

But it is not the time
The time lives on in their minds

this is great, man, but look closely. this song just blends in with every other song on this topic. you want it to stand out, but it really doesn't. if i were you, i would probably add some elements in the song that make it completely yours, right? but trust me, it is a great song.

I thought it was great! You make excellent use of imagery, and the way you do it is so subtle it just flows one line into the next.
