i know im being paranoid but...

i just defretted my old bass, and im letting it rest overnight to let the woodfiller fully harden before i laquer it. Its fully sanded and sitting on its stand, but with no strings.
should i put the strings back on even just for the night? it will be sitting stringless for around 3 days after i laquer it of course, but i figure the less time without strings the better, am i being paranoid?

Your just paranoid, my bass has sat for like... 4 weeks without any strings and it was fine.

yeah you dont have to worry about anything my friend had a bass sitting in his attic for 6 months w/o strings and it was fine, trus rod was off but with a couple turns it was fine.:thumb:

I've had a neck sitting in my room, stringless, for 2 years now. It's fine.

If you are secure with your truss rod abilities, you can always loosen it up.
