detuned my shortscale. string still tight even in drop c. i love these high gauge fender flatwounds. :) here's a lil rumbling bass:

High-gauged flatwounds.
Light-gauged flatwounds are usually tighter than some rounds of a higher-gauge, so I'm not THAT surprised.

30.5 and, yeah, tried low B and A. still works fine. :)
