alright everybody
im actually posting from my school right now at 4:12 am. yeah im staying over night, haha im soooooooooooooo tired right now and i drank 5 koolaid jammers in a row. so tonight was our show night at the battle of the bands. our band was first to start the show, and yess i did play my devastator! so we played black sabbath - sweet leaf, first because its kinda slow but a real nice jamming song to get everyone in the mood. second we played rise against - give it all, for those who know the song, know that it is perfrect to mosh to. we then played an original and then to finish off our set we played our own version of johnney cash's ring of fire! everyone loved the johnney cash song! we had tons of people moshing, i was moving all around stage the whole time, we had big *** balloons which we threw in the audience.. it was tons of fun! one of the judges included with the teachers at my school was micheal conroy who sed to play in flashlight brown... such a sick band.

ok so your probably wondering how it ended, right?
well we placed 2nd!! i was sooo happy, i couldnt believe it! arg, the band who took first place was a band that won last year too.. damn thier upbeat ska.. arg. oh well, im soooooooo happy that we even ranked! hell yeah!

im going to try to find some nice pictures for all of you, possibly a video of the whole set..

I hate ska bands. Congrats though, the most important thing is that you played a good show and that you had fun (I really do mean that, not just saying it).:thumb:

And, we all need devastator vids or we'll wither up and die. And it'll be your fault. And that wouldn't be very nice. No, not very nice at all.

I want to see the Devestator in action!

My school's band's are so horrible it wouldn't be worth having a Battle of the Bands.

Nice, man. And good call on the Rise Against song :thumb:. You should host it on Youtube or something for the MXers that don't want to download a massive video file to see you (and the Devastator) in action. :D

yeah, we had originals. we played one complete original that we wrote and we then did our own rendition of johnny cashs's ring of fire.. that kinda counts as an original (sounds nothing like his)

yeah ill post on youtube.com..
it might be tomorrow though, shes sending it and its gonna take a loong time

I wouldn't count that, but it's close enough.

So, one and a half?

Well, congrats anyway :thumb:. Soudns like a blast.
