Pardon my ignorance, but how do you define 'flowing bass'?
By "flowing" I asume you mean melodic? Soul to Squeeze by RHCP is a good flowing bass line.

Would flow suggest liquid, or smooth transitions and such? Peccatum's Veil of Blue comes to mind in the (avantgarde) metal area. Alot of modern jazz, especially when the bass isn't the feature instrument, can be described as "flowing".

the widow by the mars volta. not the best song by them, but the bassline is pretty smooth. but its on a fretless so i dunno if that makes a difference to you.
