Story of the Pawn Shop Marauder

Hey guys heres my pawn shop story.

The other day I went into this fairly large pawn shop thats near my school. I was looking round for a while and then in the corner was a whole rack of basses. So I walked over and looked at them and something caught my eye. It was an Mint condition 2nd hand Ibanez headless 5 string fretless (don't ask me what model), anyway it had the most amazing sunburst finish, so I decided to try it. I picked it up and it was the best feeling bass I had ever tried and had a great tone too but there was no price tag. So I took the bass to the counter and the girl there told me $100 AUD, I was like woah and then said "Could you give me 2 basses for $150?" and she said "probably." I walked back to the rack of basses and pick out a mint condition White Fender '57 Pbass reissue and it played great as well. I took it to the counter and was about to pay for both when.........































































I woke up in my bed :angry:. For a brief while I thought I was getting two basses for $150 AUD but alas it was a dream. Then thinking about the dream a bit harder I realised theres no pawn shop next to my school.

Anyway, to give this thread a point has anyone else had a dream of similar nature to this one?

I had a dream that I got Halo 2 six months before it came out, and I kind of realized it was a dream. I had to look around to make sure I wasn't dreaming. After finding myself on the deck of an air-craft carrier during a Halo-esque battle, I decided that no, this was not a dream, and that I really had Halo 2.

I've had many dreams like that where i've had various awesome basses (pretty much whatever i'd been gassing for at the time) and i've been convinced the dream is real and then I wake up and it hurts soooo bad.

Last night I dreamt I was walking down the street and stumbling on a Tobias 4-string (I think it was) lying there.... Dreams tend to make even less sense when going to bed drunk.

i once dreamt that i went to see Primus and Interpol in a battle of the bands, and of urse les got sick during the show, so i had to fill in for him. anyway, i jump up onto the stage and fill in for him. we ended up pwning Interpol, and because we won, Interpol had to be dropped into a pit and had to fight to the death, and the last man standing was eaten by a gigantic lizard-like monster.

i woke up in a sweat .......................

I dreamt me and Tim Commerford we driving some sort of wooden plank with wheels to my grans house. There, we picked up two gallons of Strongbow and went to a strip club, where for some reason, the entire cast of the Mighty Boosh were performing 'The Hitcher'. Then Mark King turned up, and challenged the Hitcher to a bass duel (the Hitcher is supposed to have pwnd King in a fantasy bass duel because of his massive thumb). Anyway, once again King was pwnd and then it all turned weird
