from wikipedia the classifications are:
Soprano: C4-A5
Mezzo-soprano: A3 - F5
Contralto (often abbreviated to Alto): F3 - D5
Tenor: B2 - G4
Baritone: G2 - E4
Bass: E2 - C4
you can test it with a keyboard and maybe even a guitar tuner if u need some help...
please dont turn this into a brag thread....im just curiose what kind of singer everyone is and wat their range is ....*it doesnt really matter for rock, pop watever but i thought it'd be fun
example: im a tenor and my range without falsetto is C3 to F4

a keyboard has 'sets' of octaves....the C in the first set is C1..the F in the second set is F2 for instance
so say for instance you start by singing ''doooooo" and this beng the lowest note you can make in full voice and you then end up matching it to the note C3 for instance...
you'll know you;ve hit the note becuase your ears will suddenly hear the harmony (or at least i do....but i play guitar and that might help me)
if you dont have that musical of an ear you can use a guitar tuner and the little tuner needle will give you a visaul reference of how far off pitch you are from the piano note.
you simply keep going up the piano and when you get to a point where you cant go any higher and remain on pitch you will now have a range from your lowest note to your highest (discliamer, dont strain your vioce too much just to try n get a larger range)
sorry if this is confusing...its way easyer just to show someone....

Actually that wouldn't give you your exact range cause it's harder to hit single high notes. You should try putting the high note in a scale.
