Latley i have been reading a lot of poetry. Before I really started reading it, I had a severe case of writers block. Its help a lot. It really helps with symbolism and imagery. Anyone have any other ways of overcoming writers block?

When i have writers block...

I like to just write down whatever comes to mind and soon i find that i start getting some good ideas filtering through the crap.

I stop doing anything creative and let the juices refill.

I post stuff like this in the Tips and Questions thread. *subtle hint*

I hire a team of professional actors to make my life interesting enough to draw inspiration from. Either that, or I write songs about poetry and bore everyone on these forums with my trite ideas.
