I thought you'd come from heaven,
turns out hell's the closest that you've been,
You looked like an angel but you thought like the devil,
You always saw yourself on a different level,
Somewhere so high above us all,
just a matter of time before you took your fall,
And when you did no one seemed to care,
your friendships were all beyond repair,
You lost the war you thought you'd won,
I Can't believe I ever loved someone

Like You (4x)

As time has passed I've had time to review,
I'm wondering if anything you said was true,
I wish we could talk just one more time,
I'd take back my ring and pawn it for a dime,
There was a time when I wanted you back,
But those days have now faded to black,
Everyone leaves you in the end,
you fall down while they ascend,
and You lose the war you thought you'd won,
I Can't believe I ever loved someone,

Like You (4x)

Any creative criticism would be great excluding the old favourite "Forced Rhymes."

This song i really like,i think its an awesome song. You can feel the anger and everything. Id rate it a B+. Reason for the B+ is because of the rhyming scheme. Its mostly ab ab ab, switch itm up a little bit, i think it would give it a little more life if you go with some aba aba. :)

The rhyme scheme makes it easier to sing within the melody. If I get around to it i'll record the song, and post it in here.
