This is a show that is coming out on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network in August. I saw a commercial last night and thought it looked pretty cool, they seem to actually know what they are talking about when they say Metal, it is neither Hair nor Metalcore. I hear James Hetfield and Kirk Hammet are going to guest star in some episodes. Anyone else see anything about this?

That's children's daytime programming, Adult Swim has Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, etc.
I don't get Cartoon Network here. So it doesn't really bother me that I won't be seeing it. It looks worthwhile, though.

I used to watch Gene Simmons cartoon. It was funny sometimes, but usually not.
I prefered Poochini.

Once again, if you have a negative comment, don't bother posting it. Who cares if you don't have Cartoon Network,... with that in mind, who gives a **** if you could care less. Nobody. Your posts are lame.

I really care what immature cunts like you think?
I sure don't. Your one of the worst posters on here and I had multiple nom's for RMOTM.
EDIT: This doesn't even belong in R&M. It belongs in the media center.

It has to do with metal, and that's half of what R&M is all about, so there you go :p.
Lartsa as far as I know there is no more info on it at the time.

"Death Clock Metalocalypse is an animated show airing in 2006 on Adult Swim, created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha. The show is greenlit for 20 episodes, and begins in August 2006. Described as "Spinal Tap meets Scooby-Doo meets Norway."
It is to air on August 6,2006 (6/6/6)
The band itself is named Dethklok, a Death Metal band from a land whose name escapes me.
The series is centered around the band's lifestyle; with episode themes like losing their 5-star chef and having to cook for themselves to a monumental concert in a town on the edge of the Arctic Circle; only to play one song, a jingle. About Coffee.
It will feature James & Kirk from Metallica, and members of Nevermore for right now.
The extended trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C4FqTfFma8&search=death%20clock%20adult%20swim
I've got the full song of the one featured in the trailer, I just don't know how to upload it. :P

There grocery store was called "Fintroll's".
Heh, the name is derived from Dimmu Borgir's 'Death Cult Armageddon' right?
Looks pretty funny, I may watch it.

Uhm, It doesn't air on 6/6/6, because August is the 8th month of the year.

That was a very charming moment - calm down a bit, man.
Lartsa: www.yousendit.com OR www.megaupload.com to upload the song. Good research! :thumb:

This show looks like it's going to be really good. The general population thinks Metal is Slipknot or Bon Jovi, it's always one of the terrible extremes. This show know very well what Metal is, so to us true metal heads it should be very entertaining.
