Hey, i was thinking of going to GC a little bit later, and i need your opinions:p
I am looking for a nice deep bass drum head. I was thinking a Pinstripe. My school set has them and i like the sound. Second question, what should i get for headphones. Right now i don't have any, and i dont wanna damage me ears. I don't want to spend over $50 on headphones. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Ps3. Emad. SKII?
I have PS3, Crank it up and you get a nice deep boom sound.

Vic Firth ISOS?

I also know some kids who just use regular earbud music-taker-outer-things you know, for like when you're mowing the lawn? 4 Bucks or so.

Hehe yeah.

25 Or so I presume

Than you get into their super duper Isolating headphones, block out so many more DB, those go to about 50 I belive.

Sorry about the abruptness of my post up there^
To help out a little more: My current bass batter is a pinstripe. If you're looking for a deep sound, the pinstripe probably isn't for you. It gives more of a fast, punchy accent than a deep, low boom. But then again, if you're some kind of tuning sorcerer, you could most definately make it work. Good luck

I <3 Sorcerers.

As for the batter, um i use Aquarians SKII. Rightly tuned you can get a deep sound. Or a fast hard boom.

Remo PS3s are great bass drum heads. Nice and boomy.

You can get some of the ear-muff things (maybe they are called isolation headphones) that reduce the sound of everything by a lot. You can also listen and play along with music: Put in some earphones (the little buds) and then put on the ear muffs.

They make stereo isolation headphones that go for 45 i think, it basically has speakers inside of the ear blockers.
