Great fun band outta Newcastle in Australia. Released EP last year and will have a full length out mid this-year.

Dunno if anybody here'l like them but they're worth checking out.

F*ck yes, the chick has awesome double-kick skills.

Weird that she uses electric kicks, I've never seen that before.

Haha I didn't know they had a chick drummer, that's rad. When did you see them? In their CD booklet it says a guy named Brad plays drums.

I saw them live a few weeks ago at the Arthouse in Melbourne.
Maybe after the EP was released they changed their drummer? That was the first time I saw them.

Yeah that's probably it. I've never even seen them, things always seem to fall into the wrong place in terms of them playing in Sydney at a conveniant time. I'm seeing them this saturday though, and I'm heaps excited, hence the thread.

They have a great drummer. I'm still amazed by her kicks though; I've never seen/heard of electric kicks before.

They're alright. Alot better than when they first formed anyway. They DO put on a good live show though....which is what any good bands should be able to do.

They've got potential.

Their Mooralbark show in Melbourne was f*cking amazing. Nothing really got started until Carpathian came on.

Security there were f*cking stupid though. They caused more fights than they prevented; we'd be dancing and they'd stand in the middle of the pit and try to stop us. If you know who BYPC are, you'll know who I'm talking about when I say Bang Bang push one of the security guys really hard and sent him flying. He then started fighting, and the security guy turned around and jumped him. That happened about 4 times before the end of Carpathian's set. By the time they finished though, security got a clue and realised that we aren't actually hurting anyone; we're just dancing. So they gave up and let us have our fun.

Haha yeah **** like that always happens. The only show I've ever been to without dickhead security guards was the Champion/Betrayed/IA/Miles Away show here in Sydney. The security didn't move a muscle basically the whole show, except to ask some chick who'd hurt her hip stagediving if she was alright, haha.

I'm so p*ssed off I missed the Champion gig.
I was absolutely shattered, and now they've split up.
They better have a reunion show or something.

I got the EP, it's pretty darn good.

Heck yeah. awesome EP. definatly one of the top australian hardcore bands. Such a let-down about hypefest though.
