Ramones!

No ramones read in awhile so i decided to put one up.

I don't know what punk would be without the ramones, they showed the sex pistols how to party which started up the clash which jump started the whole movement. What also is amazing is that they survived through disco, the hardcore punk movemnt, AND 90's bands like nirvana. They have to be the longest running orginal punk band. Everybody's gotta love em

They broke up in '96.

I used to like them a lot, and today I listened to a couple of their songs for the first time in probably six months. Really enjoyed it.

I havn't listened to the Ramones in quite awhile. I'll have to spin some of their CDs again though, I enjoy them.

I used to like them, then I got bored. I'm more of a Clash type of guy :cool:

Plus, they get too much credit for starting punk. I believe their first album came out in 1974, the year the last Stooges album came out.

But I don't totally hate them. They're ok to listen to now and then.

Everything after London Calling was garbage, But their self titled and london calling brought the hizzle.
