I'm a guitarist, never really go in to this forum, but I am looking to possibly purchase a drum set for around $500 or so. I would like cymbals and hardware to be included, considering I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on something that isn't even my mine interest. BTW sry if this is wrong sub forum.
So suggest:

Hmm...for that you're just going to be able to get a beginner level drumset. Check out the Yamaha Rydeen or the Sonor Force 1005's. Those are a little under 400. Then you could get a set of Sabian B8's, or Wuhan's if your adventurous. The Wuhan's are good quality cymbals, but their sound isn't for everyone, it's more trashy then most cymbals. Some people like that, some don't.
Hope that helps a little :thumb:
Get that sonor 1005, Best deal.

I play mostly metal and things like that if that helps at all. I'm not sure if there are certain drum kits designated for one particular style of music.
