Almost everytime I see some A Customs on here they dont really look like they are in a brilliant finish like mine are. Is it just because they were perchased not in a brilliant finish or is it because of how old they are. because if i can i want mine less shiny.

You can get traditional finish on pro cymbals as well.

I know Sabian does that, and I guess Zildjian as well.

I'm pretty sure all A customs are Brilliant...but you can choose if you want just plain A's in brilliant or trad...

A Customs, as said before, are all brilliant. The less you clean them the less shiny they'll be...so don't clean them if you don't like it.

It makes them a tad bit darker and more mellow sounding which is always nice...

Well, at least with what I have. If I ever buy some nice and bright cymbals (AAs when I get em), I'll keep those clean. Dark cymbals I'll let get dirty.

Actually, my old 18" B8 crash/ride is just... well... really dirty. But it sounds quite good, especially crashing. Damn, I really love that crash sound I get from it.

All A Customs are brilliant, A's are available either way.

You can only get 16", 18" and 20" A Crashes these days in brilliant. I managed to get a 17" in brilliant right before they took it off their catalogue.

Yeah they have really narrowed the options down lately.
