So, since there's a big influx of band discussion threads lately, I figured I'd make one for Ensiferum, since I have been listening to them a lot lately. Amazing band, one of my favorites for sure. Post away, eh?

Ensiferum is really good. Too bad Jari left, I doubt they'll ever achieve the greatness of the first album without him.

I love Ensiferum. I much prefer them over Wintersun.

It's a close battle IMO between Ensiferum's S/T and Iron. Both albums have great highs.

I'm not much of a Wintersun guy, either.

Iron and self-titled are both equally great, in my opinion.

I really like Ensiferum, with both Jari and Petri. I like the self titled album more, my favourite songs are probably Battle Song, Hero in a Dream, and Goblin's Dance. Any know of any plans for a new full lenght album?

Really? Wow, I love those songs. "Into The Battle" has a great solo on it, nothing too fancy but still badass. I love it all.

I heard somewhere that are recording an EP currently. I can't remember the source, but it had songtitles and everything...

Ensiferum are great, its a shame the new EP isn't as good as I'd hoped it would be though.

I'm looking forward to the possible release of their 10th Anniversary Show on DVD and the new album, and if I'm lucky and get my arse in gear seeing them live at Bloodstock Open Air.

Dragonheads? Yeah it was released Feb. 15. I actually like it pretty well, not quite up to the standard set by the other two albums but still a good listen.

Battle Song gets a solid rating from me. I like the way it sounds like a COB song recorded in the corner of a pub somewhere

I love Ensiferum when they have Jari...even though it's a pity he left, I prefer Wintersun over Ensiferum anyways.

However, I hated Dragonheads...thought it was pretty awful.
