im sick of these god dam hardcore kids that always talk to me and be like ur such a typical metal head, listening to mainstream and playing guitar. they make fun of me for listening to COB, arch enemy, megadeth, pantera...etc.
like the last day of school before spring break i was sitting in physics and this kid jeff next to me was like ur such a stereotypical metalhead, with ur long hair and ur mainstream music. i was like **** you you **** sucking peice of sh!t. all of those kids think there better than everyone else. another example was when i was at the atreyu and unearth show and these 2 kids started making fun of me cuz of the way i dressed and the whole mainstream thing. because of that i hit him the face and got kicked out of the show. :angry:

kids are like who the hell is Lykathea Aflame some kind emo band. death metal is extremely unpopular as well so if i said that i'd get ripped on more but most of my friends aren't into any kind of metal except maybe avenged sevenfold or megadeth. But who cares I listen to what I like to listen to regardless if people like it or not, they just think metal is overly angry and therefore funny, but i've discovered there's a lot more to it. I don't just listen to metal, i like a lot of progressive rock and electronic as well

only problem is when i give kids rides they laugh if like a deathmetal song comes off my ipod haha

exactly... I mean don't the classic rock kids get tired of fake-liking the same stuff? Mainly led zeppelin, just because everyone else fake-likes them too. Sure they're good but people don't take the clue that they're not the only good band out there, just cause everyone says they are.

I don't judge people based on the music I listen to because that's not how you should determine friends and my friends don't really judge me that way either, but some people just don't take as much time as me in finding stuff I enjoy, although it might seem unconventional to them.

Dam someone got their first. Dude, its all cool, every hardcore kid I have met thinks they listen to such underground music when sooo many more people listen to hardcore. Or at least they think they do at least. I am yet to see people walking around with Mithras shirts while their is a hell of alot of people wearing hardcore tees. Alot of hardcore kids are pathetic, they must pay others out about their music tastes no matter what to make themselves feel better. Seriously losers who will never amount to anything. Just remember that metal invovles more that powerchords, homo vocals and breakdowns to make good music. (refering to the new hardcore stuff, that is all breakdowns etc) So, don't let idoits bother you. Because thats what they are.
