Ehhh... saw them with The Great Redneck Hope. They were kind of boring and the singer was kind of a douchebag in person.

I've always thought that were decent. They got boring after a while and the vocals wern't great. They were about to release a new CD and go back on tour... hm.

i so dig this band. my number 5 on last.fm. i just never posted about it because i figured the regulars here wouldn't like them and say they were boring and generic, or something similar. i got their cd like a year ago and it has been in solid rotation since. they aren't pushing the envelope of musical innovation and creating a new sound, but they take the sound and do it to perfection. and they also have the diy ethic, which is a plus. they only play all ages shows, won't sell tickets, ect.

i am seriously bummed. that was the show i was looking forward to most this summer. i've been hoping they would come down here for like a year, and they finally were going to and they break up. you have any demos or anything from new stuff they might have been working on? this really sucks.

He is in another band.
It's called "As You Were"
It's supposedly a hybrid of a local band that was extremely generic metalcore and of QNC.
So basically a bit more of melodic metalcore.

Our bands are playing our first shows together.

I wouldn't call em generic just yet.
I haven't heard them.
This new band is supposedly a hybrid of QNC with the generic metalcore band.
It's supposedly focusing on melodies a lot more and dropping the "tough-guy" aspect..

I'm gonna try and catch their practice on Tuesday..
