Shane have you ever listened to any of the local bands I post about on here? I have made tons of posts about all the local bands, I support all the local bands, I advertise for local band pre-orders. Not even 24 hours ago I posted about Between the Wars new EP which came out and currently has pre-orders for the vinyl and not a single person responded. This is the case for every f'ucking post I make about local bands. Truth be told I listen to local bands more than most other bands. I never hear you talk about local bands, only smaller bands who aren't big enough to headline a tour but are still known across the globe, aside from like Adora and maybe 2 texas bands which sound exactly the same.

You think every band sounds the same. I'm always mentioning local TX bands for people to check out: Balls Out, Hands Of The Few, Serious Youth, Will To Live, Pride Kills, etc. and I was always doing the same for California bands. And I listened to some of those bands you posted...but I didn't really get into it. You just didn't know because I don't let my a'ss do all my talking.

I have no problem with you talking about Adora, never once did I say or hint at that helping them was bad. I don't usually feel the need to really express not liking a band. Sometimes if the band is a big deal I'll see if I'm not the only one who isn't into it..but I don't see the point in popping up just to say "This band sounds like a Champion wannabe" or something absurd like that.

And really, when is the last time you went to a show just to help out the guy booking the show?

Yeah, because making random comparisons is really constructive. You have no intentions of helping a band out when you say that s'hit, you really wanna help them out, email them and let them know how you feel about the music if you wanna be constructive. And if you don't like it, then turn it off and just leave it at that. I don't see how this is so hard for some people.

Either way, I'm just sick of people's houlier than thou attitudes in general. Have fun and quit trying to let people know you're "better" than them.
