So uh, not seen me around these parts huh?
I'm sure for some people that's great.
And for others; it's great.
But I am imxortel.
My quest, is to find Ska without horns.
Please don't say any Crackrock Steady band.
Or Operation Ivy.
But other than that.
Help a nigga out.

The Specials (The majority of it anyway).
The Aggrolites rarely use horns but they're more reggae and funk.

Most of Citizen Fish's stuff doesn't have horns. The stuff that does is great though.

Early The Impossibles for some good hornless ska. Most anything off Anthology will work, I think two songs on it have trombone.

Knowledge. They're basically just Link 80 minus the trumpet. Pretty good, though their sound isn't exactly like Operation Ivy's.

They make me want to jump in front of a train in the best possible way. Musically, they are pretty crappy, I suppose, but their lyrics are definately unique. Theres just something about them that makes me not hate them.

ASOB and BTMI are both great bands, especially live.
Good call on The Stray Bullets though. Authority Zero does some cool stuff too.

I agree on Authority Zero. A lot of their stuff is straight Punk-style, but some of the stuff adds that ska feel to the music, much like Op Ivy
