These dudes rule. They were an old school nardcore band. Similar to bands like Dr. Know, RKL, Stalag 13, Ill Repute, etc. I've got their self-titled album if anyone wants it.

I'M ALLLIIIIIVVVVEEEE!

Nardcore?
hardcore from Oxnard, CA. Most bands from the 80's that came out of there were heavily influenced by their skateboarding.

Agression even does an awesome Jimi Hendrix cover.

Agression are great. I haven't listened to them for ages though. I like Rich Kids and Voodoo Stew.

Voodoo Stew is an awesome song.

I really like em cause they're the perfect crossover mix of thrashy riffs and hc punk breakdowns.

This is the agression that released Forsaken Survival right? If so, I love this band, if not. I haven't had the chance to hear.

"Then I caught about 6 songs of Ill Repute...before some suicidal threw me into a post."

Or something like that.

Hey, Butcher, what's your avatar from? I know that I had an action figure of that shark thing and really loved it.

Dude, Oxnard Hardcore has always ruled. Whether it was the 80's with the more punk influenced nardcore or with In Control, y'all have always had some pretty rad bands.

Close, but no cigar. That title has always gone to and always will goto the Faction. Don't be silly.

A lot of nardcore bands didn't come from Oxnard though, it pretty much spanned the area from Santa Barbara to Oxnard.

Hmm. I just looked up that The Faction released something 2 years before Agression. Damn...

JFA will always be the ultimate skate rock band in my book. And the best band to skate to.

It doesn't matter who came first, but what matters is who did it the best, and I say that was the Faction.
