Please dont block this as it is releated to this forum (although I dont this thats going to stop you)

The removal of the Audio Arena from the visible list of threads on musicianforums.com is in my opinion a mistake.

It is a great place for people to get opinions on their music and to be able to expand their own music tastes at the same time. The idea of its removal being an experiment to me is a joke (obviously nobody will use it if its invisible, as getting the link becomes too much of a hassle.) Without the audio arena countless thread with title like "Chex out my demo" are going to flood the other boards.

If you agree with me, sign this petition. Hopefully we can reinstate what once was a great forum.

(Also if you really care, just add the link to the bottom of you posts in other threads for a while. Lets see if we can really mess this up)

:smash: :thumb: :smash:

Oh and mods, If I have got this totally wrong and there is a good reason for having done this please tell me before I look like too much of a fool.

I do agree but I don't think there is a need for a petiton, we should just tell the mods. I don't believe that this forum was 'dead' and now that it's been removed there's like 1 reply to a thread a day. I want it back.

Ok yeah, perhaps your right about the Petition... but it does seem stupid that they took the page away.

Being a group of musicians an integral part of our community should be sharing our own music. Without that then this is just another dumb geek discussion forum.

I'm totally with you, dude. I'll post about once every other day or so. The easiest way for me to find this forum is for me to post something in another thread, and look at my old posts to find out if this is back up. If it's not, they can **** off. If I wanted to talk to a bunch of geeks about random crap, I would have taken up D&D.

I wonder how the experiment is going? What is involved in the "experiment"? Are you seeing if it's being used less if nobody know it exists? 'Cause I think that would work.

Yeah man, I joined this forum a long *** time ago man, just to post and talk about things i needed to with musicians... and now, I've finally got another band together and stuff... and it seems like theres no one to talk to in the other forums about real music. They seem to overlook posts from people without 5,000 posts since October 2005. And it took me freakin forever to find this audio arena.

This is sooooo gay. I left it for a while to see if they would just bring it back. But it didn't happen. I think this reeks or bad moderating. Its unfair to take something away without an explanation. Being a mod should be about taking good decisions that reflect our interests. Not doing annoying things behind our backs without warning or explanation.

If this only vague response we can get is... "uhh its an experiment"
Then we should not accept that. I want to know WHAT the experiment is and WHEN this forum is coming back! Create a sticky I dont care. I just want answers.

While I didn't use the Audio Arena a lot I did often get in here and check out people's music.

As to why less people used it. Not everyone can regularly record a demo. Plus S&L often dies for quite a while.

Honestly, I really don't get this.
