Haha, his band Dogstar(amirite?) have been around for ages, they played Glastonbury or something in the 90's and actually hick-hiked there.

The bass looks horrible in my opinion, doesn't suit my tastes, but yeah, looks like a Zon neck on a Fender body.

However, it also looks like it could be a no name 70's bass. Just a thought

Well Dogstar was in the 90's, and the first Bill and Ted was like '89 I think? So about there.

This doesn't help, but he has one of the Yamaha Billy Sheehan Hollow-Body basses. Sheehan gave it to him, signed it, and gave him a free lesson.

This is true. But I still wonder.
I just wonder if he can play an entire set without hitting someone over the head with the bass. Being a long piece of wood, the neck is similar to one the tools of the trade amongst wrestlers.
The body? It'll increase impact.

but yeah, anybody know if keanu's any good on bass at all?? and on that subject, it was him playing guitar on bill and ted (well, at the end of bogus journey after their "intense guitar training" at least) if so he may be decent... and i'd like to hear hogan play too

Actually Steve Vai plays that, Bill and Ted just pretend.

herrly
03-27-2006, 12:16 AM
Ted, while I agree that, in time, our band will be most triumphant. The truth is, Wyld Stallyns will never be a super band until we have Eddie Van Halen on guitar.

Yes, Bill. But, I do not believe we will get Eddie Van Halen until we have a triumphant video.

Ted, it's pointless to have a triumphant video before we even have decent instruments.

Well, how can we have decent instruments when we don't really even know how to play?

That is why we NEED Eddie Van Halen!

And THAT is why we need a triumphant video.

EXCELLENT!

Hahahahahahaha, man I love Bill and Ted.

I saw a documentary a while ago about him and he's pretty into music. He's a very good piano player. (i cant make the o in documentary look normal for some reason, it insists on making me look like an idiot)

If Hogan press more the neck will be breaking for sure...even a 6 String would fit into his hand like a 4 String to "normal" bass players....
