But them on the edge of the head furthest from where you play.
It shouldn't come off.

i wouldnt think they would come off but why would you want them on the underside anyway?

incase its your reso head thats creating some crazy high pitched overotnes that you cant control

/\/\ if that's the case wouldn't be for the overall good to just buy new resos?!?!

They say you can just wash them and theyre like new, But after a whil the moongels wont stay on heads easily. I've had some for around a year and a half, and theyre now starting to not stick to the heads and stay on during playing. But I dont hav too much need for them now anyway.

But still, even if they only last for 6 months surely its worth just replacing them. Cheap.

Wouldn't re-tuning be the first option?

Well you were a greal help.

And yeah retune before muffling, and if its the resos get new resos, then if you really must muffle use just 1 piece of moon gel per tom if you need more you aren't tuning right.

yes you can wash the moongel and use it again (it gets a decent amount of sticking power back).

I wouldnt mount them on the underneath of the batter, as they could fall off (they're designed to stick/stay in place on the top, not really a permanent thing).

They can be handy if youre ever in a studio though.

yes, but somebody already opted that he might not be good at tuning and even if he was if he can't control them as poppinfresh put it, new heads would be the best option anyways

another use for moongel is to hold silencing pads on the drums
