Sabian B8's or Meinl MCS ?? I know most of you guys will tell me to save my money, but that's not my questions. My question is which cymbals are better. I just dont have the money, or the job, to pay for better cymbals. Thanks to anyone who helps.

I've never used the Meinl's, so I guess I'll say B8's.

MCS rules for begginner cymbals...the ride cuts through perfectly and that bell is pretty damn good on it. Can't go wrong with it. Enjoy them!

Meinl are okay, i tested one of their MCS 18" crashes once i liked it but i can't compare it to b8's, i can say it pwned the zxt 16" crash but fell way behind all the k custom crashes (obviously). I've tested b8 14" hats they weren't bad either, b8's are a bit common though. Be different and go meinl i say.

Hmm, never tried the Meinls but from the responses they seem decent and theyre cheaper. Sabians beginner lines are good from having played on some but although you said you dont one anyone to say save. XS20s, Pro Sonix and Paiste PST5s are just a little bit more.

Uh uh, get B8's they're amazing begginer cymbals. I used to have the crash, which I used for shows. My school has the hats which are also good, they have a tight chick and you can sizzle them since they're thin. The ride is meh, but better then other begginner cymbals, sabian accually tries to put warmth in it(I used it for like 3 weeks then I got a A Ping Ride). Oh I used the splash too, it was also pretty good, fast attack and decent sound.

I just realized I wasted alot of money
