Ok, I started getting some weird buzzing when I played hard on e and a strings so I adjusted my action. The buzzing went away, but now theres buzzing coming from the bridge. Ive tryed re adjusting it but its still there. Im not sure if I should adjust my truss rod or what.

I have a fender mexican made P bass, with some 7 month old strings on.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

I'm not sure why this is. My Dean does/did that. I don't play it anymore because it's crap.

It is probably best you bring it back to the place you got it from and ask for a set up and get them to make sure it doesn't buzz anywhere. It could be for a whole number of different reasons and if you are not sure about what you are doing yourself it is best to get it done by someone who does. A set up will not cost very much, on average in the UK it is about £15. So basically about as much as a normal set of strings.

try to make sure that the two screws that adjust the action on the saddle are raised or lowered the same distance or one might not be touching annything and will rattle whenyou play, i had the same problem a while ago and thats all it was

You know, I had the same problem yesterday because I finally got off my lazy *** and gave my bass a decent set up. I ended up lowering the strings, and this POS played like a brand new bass, except there was one problem. Everytime I plucked the E string I got an annoying buzzing sound from what I thought was the bridge. I messed with the bridge and even considered replacing it, but I accidenly put my finger on the bridge pick up and plucked. The buzzing went away. It turns out that the E string was vibrating against the bridge pick up because the string was so low. Why don't you try checking if your strings are vibrating against the pick up, and if they are, adjust the pickup accordingly.

Edit: Aww nevermind, I just read that you have a P bass and most likely don't have a bridge PU. Won't hurt to check anyway.:p
