At the moment I've got a Behringer BA115 the cab with a 15" speaker and a BX4500. Even though loads of people hate these amps I'm really happy with the sound considering how much I paid. I was thinking about buying another (not Behringer) cab with two 10" speakers to go paralell. How will this sound? Any input appreciated.:thumb:

Better..
You will get more power out of your head and it gives some attack to your sound. In other words: it will sound a bit quicker. Maybe with some more treble.
My advice: go and try it out in the store. Maybe you like two 15" speakers?

i think it would be an improvment... but, it depends on what tone your going for. if your lookin for some more high end, yeah a 2x10 would be good.
it's really your call.. you know the tone you want not us.

A 2X10 and a 1X15 tends to be a pretty good mix in terms of cabs, the 10's handling the "higher" frequencies in general and the 15 pushing the air.

I used a 1x15/2x10 for a while and thought it was a combination that produced a really nice range of sound. I also used a 2x1x15 setup and got a huge (but not very articulate) sound out of it- it was probably a little louder than the other setup.
I would recommend avatarspeakers.com for quality at a low price.

Myself, I prefer smaller speakers. 2x10 could be my favorite combination; sounds great, and is compact.

The sound I want is something clear with punch and a bit of pop in it 'cause I play quite near the bridg. I also want some nice treble for harmonics and stuff. The guy in the shop said I could take my amp in and said pretty much the same as you all did. You know your stuff! THANX ALL!

Go with 10's.
