Advice on snare wires

getting new ones, but i dont know anything about them

give me some knowledge, eg do some sound diff. to others, prices ect ect?

Just get the normal stock ones unless you got money to burn. While after market ones will make a slight difference, the difference to cost ratio is very very high. It's not enough for me to want to make a switch...

Yeah, some sound dif. I changed from stock Pearls to Puresound Blasters and loved the change. Blasters are only $20.

I just use stock gibraltr wires, they're super cheap and they work. I've never had any problems with them.

my artwood has starclassic snare wires, it sounds great, deffently reccomend it

If you've got a deep snare go with more wires. If you've got a shallow snare go less wires.

More wires = More sensitive.

Thats all i've ever used, I like to cut out some so it leaves a 4-2-2-4 set up.
