I have a 10" flash splash and 16" fast crash and they aren't terrible. Helluva lot better than my B8s at least. I used my 16" in a recording, I'll post it up soon to see what you guys think. ;)
But I do have to say, I am a fan of the A series. Nothing beats that traditional finish. :D

If he likes them, do the opinions of you people towards ZXT matter?

I have a flash splash, but the only thing i use it for is making stacks, because i have a better splash (k custom dark).

Well no, the problem with low end cymbals is that they can't keep up if your playing with a band(for the most part). ZXT's sound decent but if he just saved he could've gotten an A or something, whats better 2 decent(and I'm giving too much credit) or one good(too little credit) cymbal. I'd go with the one good because you can get an infinate amount of voices from one cymbal. Today I played with my school jazz band using a camber crash cymbal as a ride and a marching snare. The set was being used for the pit band. I kept the time and pulled it off.

u got ZXT?
yup. I'm trying to get rid of them though. So far all i need is a new crash, because I have an A medium ride, New Beats and an A custom splash.

If you like 'em, that's great. I've heard some pretty good things about the Flash Splash. Can't say the same about the rest of the range, but if you like them, who cares what we think?

Maybe, but they are still a lot better than most stock cymbals you get with most sets.

I am a big fan of Zildjian Avedis symbols; however, ZXT in my opinion are not as horrible as everyone makes them out to be.

Ah, acutally maybe yes. In a week or two we might be playing at SFSU. Other than that the only gig we have lined up is April 28 but it's going to be up in the boonies.

Ok cool man I'm just not sure when we're going to be doing it since it's getting pretty close to end of the term and we have to get our bassist down from Chico. But I'll def. let you know.
