Alot of drummers use the stock heads, although usually they are just remos with the drumset makers name on them; Gretsch, Mapex, etc.

yeah, Ginger Baker played with ALL DW stock heads at the Cream Reunion Concerts...his drums sounded ****in awesome.

On the higher end sets, the stock heads aren't actually bad at all. I know SonorKen had kept his stock resos on his Delites because he loved their sound.
