Doesnt seem to be anything wrong with it. If you snapped an ahead, .. then it's deff. not your cymbal, its your technique. Learn how to hold the stick properly, and practise more, .. dont just thrash make sure your using the sticks as instruments, not beating weapons.

You snapped an Ahead? There's so much wrong with that I don't know where to begin.

Your cymbal looks like it's positioned fine, though even if it wasn't, it sounds like the least of your problems.

First, you are an idiot for even using Aheads. It doesn't even matter if you have Z Customs. You shouldn't be using Aheads.

Second, your technique has got to be totally f*cked up to snap an Ahead. Post a video of you playing so we can try to tell you whats wrong so you can correct your technique.

Stop using Aheads and correct your technique before you crack a cymbal or possibly injure yourself.

Welcome to Carpel Tunnel Syndromesville.

Population: You

If you snapped an ahead you need to get away from your kit ASAP and go to a teacher or at least a pro drummer and show him your technique and get it fixed.

I have a teacher, but I always seem to get my sticks chipped ( 5A's and Super Jazz Models) to the point where you can tear away little bits because they got chipped. My teacher should tell me if my grip/technique is wrong, but is this normal? People say I havn't broke a stick in ages.. and I'm not worried about breaking sticks.. just more or less my cymbals.

Sticks break naturally.

Its when you snap an ahead that its time to be concerned.
