I can't help but notice that MX put this band under the emo section.. I saw their cd the other day at local cd store.. It's not too expensive either.. However, i didn't want to buy a cd before i know what i'm going to get.. I've only heard Banana Rejection, and thought it's quite good, although somewhat poppy... I don't really hear the emo sound in that song either, but i guess i just leave that matter to people who knows more about emo here... My question :
Is the rest of the album, other than Banana Rejection, good too?
*Off the topic*
Is Drowningman any good? Heard of them a couple of times, but never actually listen to their stuff..
Thanks....

I think thier album is good, pretty catch and some good vocals but its nothing new. Thier sound is melodic/poppy post hardcore. If you like SAS you will like these guys.
Not emo at all.

Bull****, Silent Drive are leagues ahead in both songwriting and innovation of any of the bands they get labelled with. Really, really awesome record.
Playing here next week.

Stretch Armstrong
Silent Drive is incredible. One of the most best, most emotional, in-your-face vocal deliveries ever. Awesome band.
