Possibly, the first few that seem fake are all written by "active musicians". Maybe a coinsidence? Maybe they are trying to boost their sales by saying they are better than they really are. Most companies try this though.

It could be people trying to make their cymbals seem better than they are by people reading the reviews and thinking wow he's got b8's those are nice cymbals.

nonsense!

I own this cymbal and I would say for a begginer cymbal, if you're really strapped with cash, go for it!

It was given to me, I've had it for three years now. It's way better than any begginer Zildjian line.

Any kid could go on there and make it sound like he knows his ****, I guess thats part of the flaw with letting the public review things.

^ It's true Thugs, it's true. I wish I would have been a member here when I first started playing. Maybe then I wouldn't have ended up with a nasty percussion plus as a first drum set.

I've always suspected that most of those were fake. I've fell for it a couple times, because at first I read that the ZBT's were the best cymbals some dude has ever heard and I went out and tried them and I thought the ride sounded terrible. Who knows.

yeah people ask in here. one of the main responces is "try it yourself"

"So make the right choice, buy a Sabian B8 crash."

holy crap, that sounds like it's right out of a 50's television commercial! hahah..
I'm surprised they didn't add the little ™ !

Those reviews are crap.

Alot of the time, people who have only experience with that crash are going to say 'this is brill 10/10!', and those who rated it mid range have used a mixture, or..it's either cracked.

Apr 28, 2005 - When I first started I had this cymbal and used it as a crash and a ride. I have had it for about 3 years, still it sounds great and I record with it as a crash and sometimes a ride. I am upgrading my set and getting all new Z Custom cymbals.
I have a Sabian B8 Pro Power rock ride and i use that as my "CLEAN" ride, but i use this for playing alot of old IRON MAIDEN songs. It is almost the color of a Paiste Rude crash ride, from all of the use and now it has a darker sound from all of the wear. But I recommend it for beginners.

i love customer reviews

MF reviews are a joke. whenever i sell something on ebay, i post a link to MF so they can see the wonerfull review and the high price of product. that seems to make people more willing to buy your crap on ebay when the ratings are so good and the price is much higher than what you're asking

I like this one, I think we have a winner..

"This cymbal is the most durable cymbal ever. I go through Zildjian A customs once a month. This crash ride is really strong and sounds awesome". 10/10.

He goes through A customs faster than some people break sticks.

For those reviewees being serious, we need to slap 'em. :smash: Just absurd.

Have you seen the reviews for that double pedal that hits the bdrum twice just with one pedal? whatever it is called...and the same thing with the triple pedal which is a joke.

haha, i almost spit mu drink out on that one.:p

I just spit my water all over my keyboard.. that was a good one plus if u can afford A Customs once a month why would u use a B8 cymbal? We are all different people with very different tastes in cymbals.. read the reviews for very general and most of the time, inaccurate information. Your best bet try it out.
