Yeah, it's not a bass, whatever, I wanted to pimp it out.

I lately have began wondering about becoming a bassist/keyboardist. Mostly because of my influences of jazz (I would love to play Teen Town both on keyboard and on bass). I also have began listening to Rush more throughly, and DFA 1979 is a VERY fun band to play to.

Is anybody else here a keyboard/bassist too? I sure hope so :)

Looks nice.

I play keys on occasion, but the only thing i can play that is good is the Linus and Lucy song.

I'm pretty sure i got the same keyboard about 7 years ago from a local pawn shop. Which reminds me i should really dig it out, its been sat in my loft for about 4 years.

I don't play keys, but i took a piano elective in class last semester, and i know my way around a keyboard. I know where the notes are, and i know 12 major scales, but my technique is rubbish. Have fun with it.

I am. I had a Fender Rhodes vintage 1971 piano for a time there and played it in a band, just keys guitar and drums. Rocking out on a piano, if you know what you're doing and have the right kind of piano, can be about a million times more fun than rocking out on a bass. Too bad I had to give it up. =(

I bought a keyboard but all I can play on it is Iron Man.

I learned how to play Seven Nation Army, Linus and Lucy and some of Mario on my grandads piano.

OH, and the tapping part from eruption.

I have a 71 rhodes in my band room. It's my brothers though, he just didn't have a way to bring it up to boston with him at the time. So it's not down there for much longer. Sounds so nice though.

I can play piano, but usually the closest i come is playing a synth with my left hand during musicals.

That doesn't look like a keyboard you'd play live. It looks like a child's/beginner keyboard. I have one just like it... I could be wrong though..

Not a bad deal for less than $40, nevertheless.

I have a Roland electronic piano belonging to my mother, if I get the music course during college then I can pick any instrument to have free tuition for and I was thinking I'd choose piano.

hook me up yo

i'm working at scoring a juno at the moment, possibly a 106 and later getting an sh-101. do you have either? if yes, how are they?

p.s. i've also got a few circuit bent keyboards to make crazy noises. they're my babies.

I play that funky music

Holy crap! How could I have forgotten about him?

I have a pretty decent education on where the notes are, but I have to practice chords a hell of a lot. I so want to play Imagine by John Lennon, and Bohemian Rhapsody.

really old picture... im no longer using that those monitors for my keyboard, im using that crate combo below it.

I use the keyboard primarily for playing the notes i need to sing for certain songs in choir. I used to be into playing it everyday, but once i finished piano III i stopped playing... Im going to take pIV in the fall, as being graded was the only thing making me continue playing, and then ill take lessons... to keep me on the straight path.
