I know many people consider them to be more of a pop punk band, but I don't think they're that poppy. Besides, the pop punk forums talk about Taking Back Sunday... So i'm keeping this thread in here.
Years of Existance-1986- Early 2000's (2001?)
Screeching Weasel was a Chicago punk band who formed in the 80's, and continued to perform until the early 2000's. Formerly on Lookout! Records, in 2005, Ben Weasel put together Weasel Mania, a 30-some song greatest hits collection on Fat Wreck Chords. Screeching Weasel was known for having fast, melodic punk, with a sound similar to the Ramones.
Songs to check out:
I Wanna Be a Homosexual
My Right
Dirty Needles
Cool Kids
and many more...

They're punk, too. Really good band, one of my old favorites. Boogada boogadaboogada, Emo, and My Brain Hurts are their best.

I have nine of their albums. They're pretty good, but I don't find myself listening to them that often for some reason.

I think it does. Its got like, 36 songs man! It's better than buying all of their albums. I personally don't think they're a good enough band to own more than two or three albums.

SW played an unannounced show that Mitch Clem missed and he was SO MAD.
Teen Punks In Heat is my favorite. It's their latest but still it's so good.
