I played the guitar version of the BP80, and was very impressed, but I don't want to spend too much money, and the expression pedal didn't do too much, so I think I'm going with this.

If anyone has played the bass version, how is it? Does it have the "Yah Yah" effect? Good wahs and flangers?

I'm going to try and play one, and if I dislike it, I might just get the guitar version instead.

Heh its alright the wahs arent to shabby if you know how to make them correctly. I own one and currently i dont fudge with it to much but it is pretty decent for the price. I paid $99+ tax which came to about 107. concider the bp80 as you can use the pedal for volume control as well. but its up to you.

I have the BP80. It has 3 wahs. Botique, Full, and Cry. It's alright, alot of the effects sound kinda cheesy though.

i have the RP80 for guitar and it kindof sucks, you jsut have t ofix the equilizerz on all of the effects to what you want them to..

I don't really approve of anything under the BP200. But I still <3 you. >.>

I've seen a bunch of used BP200's for around a $100, my friend even tried to sell me one, once. I'd look for those, but I'm sure you'll be happy if that's what you want. :)

its an effect that makes notes in a "yah" sound its kinda like a wah. actually i think its a combonation of a synth/autowah and flanger. sounds rllly cool tho.

if it's not a preset, you should be able to create it (something similar) or go to digitech website and look up the presets... they give you some, and theres a bunch under the forum....

i've got a bp80 and i like the whammy on it, and the yah yah effect is there, so very neat sometimes. the delays are cool too you can get a loop out of it if you set the expression to change the delay times and play something the heel down then move into toe down, it loops it. it's neat.

It doesn't mention in the manual, on the digitech website, and it isn't one of the presets. So I guess it doesn't.

apparently, when i set the mod selection to S1, i get a yeah sort of thing? i think it's the synth-talker setting

sixner i also have the 200....and it says everywhere that there's an effect and even a preset called yaya, and no such thing exists...

the only place i've seen this effect is on the guitar rp300 which i had like 3 years ago (now replaced by a podxt live :lol: )

I've got the BP50, it's fun to muck around with and there are a few cool sounds you can get out of it, but mucking around is all I'd use it for.

i have the bp200. i like it, but there are some problems. Half the presets are not usable, some of the effects esp. the wah are weak. And you can't combine effects unless they are seperate from the bp200. Other effects are really good like the phaser. A bp80 though I would recommend, the price seems to be right for that one.

Oh and for the yah-yah, i read about that too, the bp200 doesn't have it, but you can make it, by selecting wah, and then the effect as synth, and won of the synth voices makes a yah sound. Sounds like some one with a German accent to me.

i had the bp 200 and the effects sounded really unnatural and processed.. its ok to mess around with but in a band situation i thought it sucked a bit..
