Like last year, I'm posting, asking if anyone will be attending the University of Wisconsin/ Eau Claire's annual Jazz Festival?
It occurs March 31-April 1. Biggest jazz competition in the upper part of this fine country. My jazz band will be able to compete on the high school level this year. Last year we couldn't, because we are made up of students from various high schools in my area. Last year we earned top marks (highest of any high school band), but weren't in the competition. This year, we're in it.
I'm getting pretty geared up for it. I'm kind of hoping that there'll be an MX'er or 2 there... but I doubt it...
