It's awesome.
I bought an Ashdown MAG 1x15" to go with my MAG C210t-300. Pair those two together with my Yamaha TRB1006 to equal pure thunder. Beautiful, deep, punchy tone, with much more definition on the low B now. It's bloody loud too. With the volume at roughly 3/10 everything in the house shakes, at about 4.5/10 the house itself shakes. I haven't pushed it any further yet in fear the house will shake itself loose of its foundations. However, I have a gig tonight, and I will let you know how it fares!! Tonights gig will give me a chance to see how well it handles in a band situation, and a solo situation. They want me to play two solo tracks, I love my band :thumb:
Only got a crappy pic at the moment though, sorry. Will get some better ones very soon...

And here's my Ashdown Drive Plus... which I also love dearly

And for an idea of how big the Drive Plus is, because it is quite a chunky pedal, I put it down next to an A4 sized poster....

And for the hell of it, here's my bass!!

Thanks, and thanks to Jebus too. The ashdown pedals look cool, sound great, but the VU meter is a pain in the ***. It's not housed in the pedal properly, it's just held in place with a piece of double sided tape!! That's easily added to though, so it's not much of a draw back really.

I would get a Boss.... but it doesn't have the Ashdown tone :p the ODB-3 is a nice pedal though!

yeah true. Its good that you got the same make with amps and effects, they 'should' work well together

muthafunkabass: Yep, a piece of gaffa tape over the back will help a bit :p hehe
metal_bassist88: It does work beautifully, when I hit the Drive Plus, it sounds like an Ashdown going into overdrive instead of sounding like a whole different kind of effect.

Nice. My zoom multi effects sounds awful on distortion, single efects are much better
Still love my ODB-3 though:thumb:

I was considering the exact same setup. Your description makes me want it more...
So the volume is significantly increased, heh?

The bass is great. I've had it for little over a year now, it's very reliable, sounds brilliant, feels good. The batteries drain a little quickly, but for the tone, it's worth it. Worth every penny. I did a review of it, and it just happens to be in the reviews section :-P

**** me yeh, did a gig last night in a 300 capacity venue, and I only had to have the output volume little over a quarter. Can't wait till all the summer festivals start happening again, it's definately what I need for all the large outdoor gigs.
Ashdown = teh Win.
Yes, yes it does

Sounded really tasty at the gig last night. The other bands bass player used it so I got the chance to watch and listen to the support act before we played. Handles the low B nicely, loud, punchy, and best of all, not muddy. I did a solo track and got some really smooth highs aswell. Really happy with my purchase.
