I play lefty with pride. Don't be hatin', not even discriminatin'.
I need to get her a scrunchie and a C string though.
I'll post recordings once I get used to her. I'm trying to adjust from a 34" scale 4 string with 20 frets to a 35" scale 5 string with 24 frets. I get lost sometimes.

I just got to play one of those for the first time (a 4 stringer) at county band this week. The other bassplayer had one
Great basses. The neck is pretty thick, but I liked it personally. A nice change from the narrow wide neck of my G&L. good buy

I know, WTF is up with me being a lefty. We should make a new Holocaust for lefties. We'll call it... the Leftocaust.

I actually dont mind the neck, it's not overly thick. It takes some getting used to, but I dont mind.

Boy, that would suck if it finally arrived, three months late, and then you realised that you didn't want it anymore. :amaze:
It's a nice bass, though.
All that waiting will pay off. :)

EADG =) i have the same bass and I own it in lefty, and mine to was a few months late. =)
a pickguard!??? what the hell the wood on this bass is too beautiful to be covered up in anyway.
one tip. be careful about the truss rod cover, mine fell off and i couldnt find it. So its just a hole now and looks weird =( Ive yet to find out how to go about replacing it.
you know that shecter's customer service is horrible they are strictly with only the dealers.

Wait a second there, I have no problem with left handed people. I got the best handjob of my life from a left handed chick, so I like lefthanded people.
I just think all left handed basses look wierd.
Cool bass though. I heard they sound good.

Hey, she had averagely nice boobs, and I made her look the other way so I didnt have to see her face.
I like the finish and the offset dot markers. I was considering one of those, but I didnt really like the pickups. If Schecter put Barts in those things, id be all over it.

i hate lefty basses...
That bass sucks.
I hear the fretless 6 string version is 10x worse, so I'm glad I at least dodged that bullet.

Actually during that time I decided I want a six string, but I'm going to get used to this five first.

pure sex that is.

The only things I don't like about this bass:
It's too neck-heavy
The pup-s hum with the treble on full (although that's understandable)
The offset dots, they are so ugly and I can't even see them when I play.
I really don't see what's so bad about the EMG HZ. My only complaint is the hum, but I never have the treble on full anyway. But if you really want Barts, you could always buy one and mod it, couldn't you?

If I really wanted a lefty Schecter 6 I could go to the same store and get them to order me one.
I didn't say I necessarily wanted another Schecter though, there's a world of basses out there. I figure I might as well try something different, especially since (as far as I know) the only 6er they make is the Studio 6, which is the same as mine but in 6 string.
Yeah, lefties ftw!

$1400 CAD
It seems like a lot, but if you consider the list ($949 I believe), and then calculate the conversion to Canadian, the tax, the shipping, it's not that bad.

i see your point
i wonder what life would be like if i started on lefty..........

I thought they had a crisp, modern tone...good for metal/hard rock and I thought the slap tone was great. But I like a warmer, more vintage like tone and I thought the HZ's lacked in that department.
Id rather buy an Ibanez or Lakland already loaded with Barts then go through the trouble of upgrading.
