Nowadays, firefox is crashing like no tomarrow, especially when I am downloading more then 3 files. Is there any way to make firefox crash less?
For instance, sometimes I am not downloading anything at all, I go on MX and it freezes for no apparent reason. I get the message, "Firefox has encountered an unknown error" blah blah blah.

Yeah I get that every so often.
I don't really mind to be honest, only takes like 5 seconds to load back up again, so yeah :p

It does that a lot.
Usually when I'm in the middle of something important.

Interesting, it never crashes on me. Never. But I have heard of the problem. Uninstall/reinstall might do the trick and/or a registry clean up, as well.
I currently have severeal progams open and FF is taking 103,723 mb's of memory, though. That is a bit unusual, although not unheard of....

I'd downgrade, but i dont want to lose all my bookmarks and stuff. It could also be the fact I am still on a 256 stick of RAM. Anyways, how do I downgrade without losing anything?

Downgrade to v1.0.7
I've heard about bunches of problems with 1.5, but I'm using it, and it works fine.
Check for viruses or spyware too.

I'm on 1.5 and haven't had a problem. In fact, I had trouble using v1.0.something, but when I upgraded I didn't have any more crashing.
