At the beginning of the song Pump it, the guitar. What's that tune originally from? It's buggin the hell out of me. Like the first 7 seconds. Some one please tell me, I thought it was something from Resevoir Dogs. HELP ME! PLEASE!

actually the "original" version is unknown, it is said that it could have come from Turkey (think sufi's) and or Greece i believe and it has been used in modern songs as well, but you'll never find the "original" composer, least not yet, wish i could tell you some modern songs that use that tune, but i can't think of anything right now

The song is Misirlou by Dick Dale & His Del-Tones. It's used as the theme to Pulp Fiction.
