o yea, i saw a snare in there today aswell... a pork pie, i think 12x7 maple with a ****load of vents in it, one question....

does anyone know how many plies it is (im sure its a kellar), and how many vents they are using?? i plan on making one.

and i dunno if the paiste thing is going on at my guitar center... if it is, i might just go back for my 2nd crash i need to get.

edit: i found out its a 13x7 maple snare w/ 31 vents.... does anyone know the ply count??

as long as you've tried it and know why you think its a bad head, then by all means think what you want. But you do know its basically a SKII, no?

Sounds good man, I wouldn't have gotten a Pinstripe (hate 2 ply kick heads), but whatever works

I think I'm heading into the GC on 14th street in manhattan tomorrow to mayyybe pick up a new paiste splash. I think it was that 10 inch alpha I fell in love with a while back... I'll have to see.. but half price and one free?? I might just get me a crash or ride or something!

The pinstripe actually makes a pretty fine kick head, they sound nice for the kick.

dude, be chill, isn't the sale only on the paiste prototype cymbals, and from what i hear, the prototypes are a love 'em or hate 'em kinda thing, some ppl really liked them, others didn't, but u can't go wrong with an AAXplosion

But, you buy the more expensive one half off, then get the cheaper one for free.

if ya dont mind me asking who that is in the corner. hawt finish too!

that would be Linda Eder (www.lindaeder.com)...

Linda Eder is known to theatergoing audiences for her roles in such musicals as Jekyll & Hyde, The Civil War and Camille Claudel. She has also released a steady stream of recordings, including It's No Secret Anymore (1999), Christmas Stays the Same (2000), Gold (2002), and Broadway, My Way (2003).

and thanks for the comp. on the finish... i love it, looks deep purple with no stage lights on it, but its really a red to black fade (when stage lights hit it)... i love it too much, haha.
