i have a Shure 55SH, and im on the road a lot and its my favorite mic, and it has sentimental value (iv had it for a while now and i always feel more comfortable when im singinginto it than anyother mic, i dont know why so dont ask) and id really like a case for it, does anyone know what would work? ive been putting it into the internal compartment in my guitar case when i go to practice, and it fits but id still like a case, anyone know what i can use?
there are plenty of cases for specific and non-specific mics online everywhere. i dont know about yours, however, but custom molding your own out of foam wouldnt be hard at all. most cases fit 6 or more standard sized mics [SM58 shape], but im sure youll be able to custom mold it easily.

Still, he has a point. You could EASILY mold some craft foam into the specific shape of the microphone, and put it in a case of desired size. Search around garage sales, thrift stores, pawn shops, etc. for a small suitcase maybe, and gut it.

actually, a cool idea I've seen is to cut a hole into a Nerf football. it's very protective, fits like a glove, and is fairly cheap.
