Hey, right now I have a 5 piece rockstar, and my 12 and 13's are on a rack. I was wanting to have them suspended like my friends kit... But i dont know how you go about doing that? What supplies are needed and would it be that expensive? please dont be too critical, I just dont spend time around alot of drummers and figured it would be easier to ask on here...

And I was also wondering. I have star casts on my 12 and 13's and If I purchase a 14, would it be wise to go and get another? My friend who i bought the set from already had these on but didnt really inform me on what they did.

I sound like a piece of crap beginner, but im really just retarded. :smash:

Wouldnt they be suspended if they are on a rack?

lol... i meant them being seperated from the bass drum, as in having my 12inch suspended on my 16inch crash cymbal stand, and my 13inch suspended by my 18inch crash cymbal stand.

Aside from that. How would a 12/13/14 tom setup sound i might want to exclude my 16 tom unless I feel I have more than enough room for it. I know I cant order a 14 inch rockstar tom since they dont make them anymore... should I just save that for when buying a new kit later in the future? would it be inconvient to add on shells to a rockstar? sorry for all of the questions...

looks like you're gonna need some tom arms...ask your local music store and they should fix you up with something nice...
