Need Help.

Hey, im from the guitar forums on this website. I was wondering if anyone had any drums samples of any cymbals i could use for my drum program on my computer. The sampled cymbals i have sound terrible and it really ruins the songs because they are annoying. Any help would be greatly appriciated. I just cant find a drummer around here able to play the type of music i play. Thanks.

I play a lot of off timing parts mixed with death metal and other forms of metal. I try and mix it up as well with jazz or experimental parts, but most tech death metal.

And use the online cymbal samples from manufacturers. You'll need to record them. If you don't know how, open up your sound properties and in the recording options, check Stereo Mix. Then just use a sound recorder and play the sounds while recording.

zildjian.com and sabian.com both have online samples. Look for the Sabian soundcheck, and for Zildjian, you need to open up some actual cymbal descriptions and play the clips from there.
